For my MS, I have been on Gilenya for 5 years now. With my last MRI, they did see new lesions on my brain but I had no clue. That was hard to listen to but I am glad I haven't had any symptoms from it.
Four years ago, I was introduced to doTerra essential oils. I am so glad I was. I originally started it to help my son who has brain trauma due to abuse in his orphanage. I was introduced to them by another adoptive mom. God puts others in our lives just when we need them. As we went to get him scanned for the oils he needed, I also got scanned. At the time, I didn't think I could afford the oils, so I got a bunch of essential oil blends so we could treat a little bit of everything.
As I continued withdoTerra, I graduated from college with my teaching degree. I was very interested in living a moreall natural life. I have bad anxiety and fatigue along with bouts of the MS hug and sharp pains of weakness. I thought that maybe I could join doTerra because I liked the oils so much. Months went by and I asked God to send me a sign if I was to join or not.
Three months into my school year, a huge sickness fell over West Michigan. I was miserable along with everyone else in my school. I couldn't breathe, my chest hurt and I tried mydoTerra Breathe. I was better the next day! Everyone else was still sick and I was better! That was my sign! I signed up withdoTerra.
I wanted to grow my business quickly and I needed a mentor. I called the upline and found out she was in Alaska, but her mom lives here in Michigan. So I met up with her, and learned how to share oils with others. I also talked to her about my MS and my fatigue. She told me to get on doTerra's vitamins. So I did. I starteddoTerra's LLVtwo years ago and haven't looked back since. I no longer take 2-3 hour naps a day. I have energy to teach each day and come home and spend time with my family at night. I work out around 3 times a week. I feel great. Do I still have bad days? Of course, but they are few and far between!
My upline has been a Godsend. I have gone through some pretty tough times with my youngest who is also adopted but was born with high doses of drugs in his system. Dealing with all of that hasn't been easy but again God put the right person in my life to help me. She took me to the Symphony of Cells training and I now do different protocols on each one of my family members. My daughter has learned how to do my protocol on me. It has been an amazing experience on how these essential oils can help your body heal in so many ways.
Once the law was passed in Michigan this year for Marijuana, I chose to try CBD oils. Now doTerra has an oil that comes from the Cannibis plant, but it wasn't helping me like I wanted it to. I needed something to really help me with my anxiety and sleep. I have found thatCBD Tasty Drops Spearmint Full Spectrumis my CBD of choice. Full spectrum tinctures contain CBD and the other naturally-occurring cannabinoids and terpenes in the hemp plant. You get all the benefits cannabis can provide, with none of the high.Tincturesare a unique andeasily-absorbedsubstance, so you can feel relief faster.
Depending on the day, I take it once or twice. Some days my level of anxiety is very high and other days I just need the CBD tincture to go to sleep. I have since gotten off my Xanax and am amazed at how well the CBD oils works for me.
Is it safe for children? You bet. I have three kiddos with ADHD, and one with DMDD also. They take a lower dosage of the CBD oil than I do, but it seems to work well for them. One also likes to use it at night to help him fall asleep.
CBD is just a natural way for your body to repair itself and calm itself down. So I now use my doTerra essential oils during the day and for certain sicknesses that I may get from teaching. I use CBD oils to help me with my anxiety and sleeping troubles. Do I see myself every using only one oil? No, but I will never get off mydoTerra LLVeither as those keep my fatigue in check and my health balanced in the most natural of ways. Living with MS isn't the easiest but that is why I am sharing my story. To help those who have Multiple Sclerosis get through their day naturally!
